Fulfillment and Shipping

What is your live arrival guarantee?

Enjoy peace of mind with our live arrival guarantee. Your plant will be handpicked and packaged very carefully by professionals at our nurseries. Your plant will undergo stress during transit, but should quickly start to recover once it receives care.

If your plant receives irrecoverable damage, please send an email of the order to support@calplants.com with 3 detailed pictures of the plant along with your shipping box and order number right after opening the package. We will either replace or refund your order. For refunds, we will cover the cost of the products but not for shipping.

If your shipping address is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit during the daytime, please add the heat pack to your purchase to qualify for our live arrival guarantee. If you do not add the heat pack during the cold temperatures, the guarantee is void. The guarantee is also void when your shipping address is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Please refrain from ordering during heat waves.

Courier delays and lost in transit issues are not covered within our guarantee policy.

How long will it take for my plants to arrive?

It usually takes 3 business days for fulfillment (processing and packaging). From there, the shipping time depends on USPS and FedEx, but is usually 3-6 business days.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are based on the total weight of the package. Up to 1 pound of weight will be between $7 - $9. Between 1 to 2 pounds of weight will be $11 - 15. Between 2 to 12 pounds of weight will be $19 - $29. Packages weighing greater than 12 pounds will be $35+ depending on exact weight. 

How do you pack the plants?

Our plants are packed directly at the greenhouse by professional staff. Each plant is secured in place with the help of various supplies such as cardboard, rubber bands, packing paper, and more. If you've had a negative experience in the past with buying plants online due to inadequate packaging, please give us a chance! We hope to change your mind about online plant shopping.

Where do you ship to?

Our plants ship to the contiguous 48 states in USA and Washington D.C. Sorry, we do not deliver to Alaska, Hawaii, and outside of the US.

What happens if my plants are damaged?

How can I cancel my order?

Please email your cancellation request along with your order number to support@calplants.com within 1 hour from order placement. 

May I change the address to where the plants are shipped after ordering?

All address changes for processed orders must be submitted within 1 hour from order placement.

Will I get the plant that looks like the picture on the plant page?

The plant photos on the plant pages are to show you what the plant looks like, and do not depict the exact plant that you will receive. We follow industry standards when it comes to sizing. If you would like a more precise depiction of what your plant will look like for a particular size, please contact us at support@calplants.com.
